Leveling Up: Cowen Institute Helps to Bring Level All Resource to New Orleans

The New Orleans College & Career Attainment Network (NOLA CCAN), an initiative of the Cowen Institute at Tulane University, hosted two meetings in April 2024 to introduce a promising resource to its partners: Level All. The New York-based platform Level All has quickly gained trust and traction in Louisiana to support students, parents, schools, and organizations looking for engaging and comprehensive content to advance high school and postsecondary success outcomes.

At the April event, Level All showcased their work to New Orleans-area high school guidance counselors and adolescent-serving nonprofit practitioners. Level All has now expanded statewide.

Level All swiftly determined that the state met the criteria for the resource to be completely complimentary to all users (that’s right, it’s free!), thanks to the sustaining support of their corporate sponsors. Their team developed a custom Level All Louisiana website for Louisiana residents. This tool, available in English and Spanish (it is also actively being translated to other languages), has strong potential to equitably delivery content to students in the rural pockets of the state, to opportunity youth in bustling cities, and to their families who may also be in search of ways to support them with college affordability or to advance their own professional pursuits. Moreover, Level All will streamline data collection for counselors, build their capacity to support their unique student populations, and allow them to reclaim their time by utilizing the free curriculum available to users with educator accounts.

The rapid growth of this platform is a true testament to the power of collaboration and data & resource sharing, which are the pillars on which the Cowen Institutes stands.
