What’s Next for FAFSA? Cowen Institute Quoted in New York Times Article

Louisiana recently implemented a massive change — it will no longer require students to fill out FAFSA to graduate. In an article on the change, the Cowen Instute’s Mia Gonzales Washington, director of the New Orleans College and Career Attainment Network, was quoted as saying the repeal was “unfortunate.” She offered insights into why the policy shouldn’t have been changed as well.
